A customer needed a quick and affordable solution for a simple everyday object — tea light. Using our Fast Print service, we produced the model using standard PLA, focusing on speed, efficiency, and low material consumption.The part was optimized for FDM printing, allowing it to be manufactured quickly without unnecessary complexity. Thanks to its small size and minimal material usage, the production time and cost were kept low, making it an ideal choice for rapid prototyping, small functional items, or low-volume orders.
A designer approached us with a concept for a small table lamp shade and provided an initial sketch outlining the desired shape and lighting effect. The goal was to quickly translate this idea into a functional product while keeping production simple and cost-effective. We converted the sketch into a printable model and optimized it for FDM manufacturing. The shade was produced using a translucent PLA material, enabling soft light diffusion and a warm ambient glow. Special attention was given to wall thickness and geometry to balance print speed, material usage, and lighting performance.The result was a clean, minimal lamp shade that stayed true to the designer’s vision while being fast to produce and easy to iterate.
